  10. FAQ

1. Verify your account

To build trust and stay compliant in Arizona:

  • Government ID – prevents fraud and confirms identity.
  • Food Handler’s Card – required for handling food, juices, syrups, fruit, etc.
  • Arizona Title 4 certification – required to serve alcohol.
  • (Optional) Liability insurance – increases host trust.

Upload these in Profile → Verifications.
Finish Stripe Connect onboarding to receive payouts.

2. Create your listing

  1. Click Post a listing in the top menu.
  2. Title: Lead with your specialty + outcome. Example:
“Craft Cocktails for 20–150 Guests — Fast, Clean, Professional.”
  3. Category: Bartender, Chef or Food-Truck.
  4. Description: Cover what’s included, guest range, travel radius, setup/cleanup, and featured cocktails.

💡 Pro tip: Promise outcomes (speed, vibe, professionalism) and highlight 3–6 signature drinks.

3. Set pricing & offerings

Your total price = Base service fee + per-cocktail cost (optional) + ingredient costs + add-ons + platform fee.

  • Base Service Fee – your flat booking price (setup, tools, time).
  • Per-cocktail fee – optional, useful for large parties.
  • Per-Dish Cost - create a food menu and set your prices.
  • Add-ons – ice, garnish upgrades, mocktails, shopping, etc.

💡 Benchmark: Many bartenders start at $300–$600 base + $3–$8 per cocktail.

4. Use the Cocktail Builder

The Cocktail Builder is where you define the cocktails you’ll serve. It connects directly to our liquor catalog (from partner liquor stores), juice & garnish suppliers (like Crown Produce), and your own custom ingredients.

  • Catalog items (auto-mapped): Spirits, beer, wine, juices, syrups, garnishes. Costs are pulled from local partner prices.
  • Custom ingredients: If you make your own syrups, shrubs, infusions, or mixers, you can add them manually.
    • Enter a name, unit size, and cost.
    • Custom ingredients are billed to the host as part of your service, but are not linked to local vendors.
  • Cost calculation: The system calculates total bottles based on your recipe measurements (oz/ml), rounds up to whole bottles, and passes those costs to checkout + the liquor order summary.

💡 Pro tip: Offer 3–6 cocktails that reuse base spirits (vodka, rum, whiskey) to reduce waste and keep alcohol orders efficient.

5. Add photos & menu

  • Upload 3–8 crisp photos: your setup, you mixing, finished cocktails.
  • Add a one-page menu image or list “Featured Cocktails.”
  • Keep backgrounds clean and lighting bright.

6. Set your availability

Update your calendar so hosts can only request realistic dates/times.
Mention travel radius and peak service days in your listing.

7. Connect payouts (Stripe)

  • Complete Stripe onboarding under Account → Payouts.
  • Standard payout timing applies (typically 2–5 business days).
  • Each booking generates a payout summary.
  • You’re responsible for reporting income/taxes.

8. Understand alcohol ordering

  • At checkout, hosts choose cocktails and quantities.
  • The system builds an alcohol order summary.
  • Partner liquor stores prepare and deliver the alcohol.
  • You do not bring alcohol — you provide bartending service + non-alcoholic ingredients.
  • Alcohol costs are separated automatically.

9. After you accept a booking

  1. Confirm details with the host: date/time, guest count, setup needs.
  2. Coordinate arrival time, glassware/ice, and any add-ons.
  3. Alcohol is handled by the partner store — no action needed on your side.
  4. Arrive early, set a clean bar, and wow the guests.
