How Alcohol Orders work

Introduction

Alcohol delivery is one of the most important (and most regulated) parts of Indytend. This guide explains exactly how alcohol ordering, delivery, and compliance work so that both hosts and service providers know what to expect.

Who Provides the Alcohol

  • All alcohol comes directly from our partnered liquor stores (e.g., Cellars Fine Wine & Spirits).
  • Indytend and Service providers do not sell alcohol. They only provide bartending services, non-alcoholic ingredients, and garnishes.
  • Indytend partners with licensed stores to ensure compliance and reliable supply.

How Ordering Works

  1. Providers build menu using the cocktail builder.
  2. Our system calculates how much alcohol is needed based on recipes and host needs.
  3. Your alcohol order is added to your cart with services and add-ons.
  4. The liquor store prepares your order for delivery or pickup.
  5. Alcohol arrives before your event, ready for your bartender to serve.

Compliance & Safety

  • All deliveries require government ID checks at drop-off.
  • Bartenders act as Indytend’s agent during delivery to ensure alcohol is safely handed off.
  • Bartenders must upload a Title IV certification, and hosts must be 21+ to order.
  • Liquor orders are sized based on recipes, helping reduce over-buying and encourage responsible service.

Common Questions

Yes. A government-issued ID is required to accept delivery.

Can I add extra bottles outside of Indytend?
Yes, but for a seamless experience, we recommend ordering everything through our partner store.

Tips for delivery drivers are optional but appreciated.
