Does it cost anything to join?
No.
Creating a profile and posting your services on Indytend is completely free.
- There are no subscription fees, no setup fees, and no hidden charges.
- You only need to upload your documents and create a listing to get started.
- Indytend earns from the host side (alcohol orders and booking fees), not from you.
Joining Indytend is 100% risk-free.
Do I keep all of my earnings?
Yes.
You keep 100% of what you charge for your service.
- If you set your base service fee at $500, you receive $500.
- If you charge $10 per cocktail, you receive the full $10.
- Indytend never takes a cut of your labor, menu, or service pricing.
We built Indytend this way so providers can focus on quality service and know they’re being paid fairly.
What are the requirements to sign up?
- Bartenders: Must upload a government-issued ID, food handler’s card, and Title IV certification.
- Chefs: Must upload a government-issued ID and food handler’s card.
- Food Trucks: Must upload ID and proof of business license.
This ensures hosts can trust the professionals they book.
Do I need insurance or permits?
- We recommend carrying liability insurance for your own protection.
- Chefs and food trucks may need local health permits depending on city regulations.
- Indytend does not charge you for this but may request documentation for compliance.
How does my listing get approved?
- You create your profile and menu (cocktails or food).
- You upload required documents (ID, certifications, permits if applicable).
- Our team reviews your listing for accuracy and compliance.
- Once approved, your listing goes live and can be booked by hosts.
Approval usually takes 1–2 business days.
Do I need to bring alcohol?
No.
Alcohol is always ordered through Indytend’s partnered liquor stores. This keeps everything fully legal and compliant.
- Bartenders focus only on mixing and serving.
- Alcohol is billed separately to the host at checkout.
Can I include food in my listing?
Yes.
- Chefs can create a la carte or prix fixe menus.
- Bartenders can add snacks or light bites if they want.
- Food trucks can upload their existing service menus.
Adding food is optional but can help you attract more bookings.
Can I add custom ingredients?
Yes.
Our builder allows you to add unique ingredients like:
- House-made syrups and infusions
- Signature sauces or condiments
- Specialty garnishes
Standard items (alcohol, produce, mixers) are mapped to our partner catalogs, but your creativity is always welcome.
How does the cocktail builder work?
The Cocktail Builder helps bartenders create professional drink menus:
- Select spirits (pulled from liquor store partners).
- Add mixers, juices, or sodas (from local suppliers).
- Add garnishes (linked to produce partners).
- Enter any custom ingredients you make yourself.
Your cocktails will then appear on your listing for hosts to choose from.
How do I get paid?
- Hosts pay securely through Stripe at booking.
- Payment is held safely until the event is complete.
- You are paid 100% of your earnings directly to your bank account.
No platform cuts. No middleman fees. Just your hard-earned money.
